The VeLo module Burn-in System
The aim of the VeLo module Burn-in System is to uncover weaknesses introduce into the module s during manufacturing or in the components themselves. In this capacity it is able to verify that all the modules tested conform to a certain level of quality.
The system is currently being developed at Glasgow University but will be operated at CERN. Apart from performing long term testing, the Burn-in system is also envisage to perform the arrival tests to determine if the module was damaged during transit.
