An optimization of the jet calibration implemented in the Monte Carlo simulation package for ATLAS experiment has been proposed. A set of Z+1 jet events have been simulated to get a new parameterization, and to complete the calibration the W bosons produced in ttbar events have been reconstructed. A simple fixed cone algorithm commonly used for the jet reconstruction in various experiments has been tested for different values of the cone size and p_T{jet} threshold, and also for different processes such as WH H_to_bbbar and W+jets. The important features of the algorithm were noted and correspondent recommendations have been worked out.
