Research
I work within the Detector Group of the Particle Physics Group of the School of Physics and Astronomy of Glasgow University.
The laboratory is involved in several research and development projects both within the STFC remit and outwith.
I am interested in
Old work
I have worked on serval projects over the past 15 years. Some of the more recent ones are listed here
- SCT @ Glasgow was part of the UK Valencia cluster working to develop and build part of the forward semiconductor tracker, (SCT), for the ATLAS experiment on the Large Hadron Collider, (LHC), at CERN.
- MI3 was a RCUK Basic Technology funded project to develop the basic technology for scientific grade CMOS imaging sensors.
Teaching
I am involved in univiersty teaching and teaching at international schools.
